Photo: Alumnus Contact info Email: corsan@uga.edu Research Interests: My research investigates how capitalist structuring of cities is being integrated with homeless poverty governance and “homeless†identity formation in the context of the campus model (combination of shelter and social services). I query how the campus model as growing trend in the U.S. is created and implemented. My dissertation examines one such model in Phoenix, Arizona called the Human Services Campus, where I aim to understand the ways this model potentially confines homeless people spatially, systemizes new forms of police and management, and constitutes power relations forming “homeless identities†within this often marginalized group of people.
